Tập huấn tại Hà Nội: Hợp tác thúc đẩy giải pháp tiết kiệm năng lượng và chuyển dịch năng lượng hướng tới tăng trưởng xanh và bền vững trong ngành công nghiệp hỗ trợ

As part of the project “Promoting Energy Efficiency in Supporting and Food Processing Industries in Vietnam,” funded by UNOPS and implemented by VCCI, a two-day training workshop titled “Collaboration to Promote Energy-Saving and Energy Transition Solutions Towards Green and Sustainable Growth in the Supporting Industry” was held on July 3–4, 2024, in Hanoi.
Co-hosted by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Vietnam Association of Supporting Industries (VASI), the event attracted over 60 participants from the supporting industry, financial institutions, energy experts, and academic institutions.
Key topics included policy updates on GHG reduction and inventory, financial support mechanisms for green transitions, case studies of rooftop solar installations at manufacturing sites, Toyota’s Karakuri low-energy improvement model, and guidance on GHG reporting based on ISO 14064 and the GHG Protocol.
Discussions addressed practical business concerns such as compliance under Decree 06/2022/ND-CP, loan eligibility requirements under the Vietnam Environmental Protection Fund, and real-world applications of Karakuri in industrial settings.
The workshop significantly enhanced participants’ understanding of energy transition and sustainable growth in the supporting industry, while fostering cross-sector collaboration between enterprises, technical experts, and financial supporters.
