Tra Vinh Farm Company Limited (Sokfarm), established in 2019, located in Cay He Hamlet, Phu Can Commune, Tieu Can District, Tra Vinh Province, currently has 38 employees, mostly female, specializing in the production of organic coconut nectar products. In the next 3-5 years, the company aims to become the leading unit in the organic coconut nectar industry in Vietnam, linking with 500 households on 300 hectares of organic coconut, creating jobs for 400 people (of which 70% are Khmer and 70% are female).

With a total factory area of ​​500 m², Sokfarm will consume about 350,000 kWh of electricity each year to operate a closed production line from receiving raw materials to packaging products. In addition, to expand production scale and improve efficiency, the company is implementing a project to build a Hiep Luc workshop with an area of ​​1,000 m², investing in a UHT sterilization and vacuum concentration line. The expected capacity is 10-12 tons of fresh coconut nectar/day, ensuring stable output for 50 hectares of coconuts for nectar extraction.

To ensure a sustainable energy supply and meet green production standards, experts from the Project and Sokfarm found that the company can invest in a series of green items as follows:

v 150 kWp solar power system on the roof of the new workshop (estimated to save 225,000 kWh/year, equivalent to 400 million VND in electricity costs, with capital recovery within 5 years);

v Biomass boiler using coconut by-products, replacing the current resistance sterilization equipment;
