Main Responsibilities:

VASI is a professional association representing Vietnamese supporting industry enterprises. Its mission is to promote the development of domestic supporting industries, enhance member capabilities, and connect them with global supply chains. In recent years, VASI has actively supported its members in green transition and energy transformation toward sustainable production.

Key Focus Areas in Green Transition:

Assisting enterprises in adopting energy-efficient and cleaner production technologies

Connecting businesses to green finance programs and energy-saving equipment upgrades

Organizing training and consulting on ESG standards, circular economy, and emission reduction

Participating in policy advocacy for green industry and sustainable supply chains

Partnering with international organizations to promote energy transition in manufacturing

International Work and Support in Vietnam:

VASI collaborates with JICA, GIZ, UNIDO, USAID, and other development partners to implement green transition programs for SMEs. The association leads pilot projects on energy efficiency, green manufacturing, and low-carbon production in sectors such as mechanics, electronics, plastics, and automotive.

Technical consulting and green technology transformation for its members

Implementing projects that help enterprises access global markets via sustainable production

Organizing forums and workshops on green transition and clean energy

Providing information and connecting businesses with green finance and global partners
